A little boy was killed and a young girl were attacked by three ferocious dog when they were going to school
A young boy died, and a girl was seriously injured by three dogs in Atlanta Tuesday morning, according to police.
Logan Braatz, 6, died in the attack of what appeared to be pitbulls while Syari Sanders, was 5-year-old taken to hospital, according to CBS46.
According to reports, children were came to the attack, when they had bus stop on foot to school.
Shamonta Clayton, who lives in the neighborhood, 11Alive said he was awakened by the sound of shouts.
"I knew to be serious, because it's time for the kids to go to school," Clayton told the station.
He said he then escaped dog.
"The mother screamed, the boy could not get up, so he took his body and took him to the ambulance," Clayton said.
A third child suffered minor injuries in the attack, police said.
Dog owner Cameron Tucker was arrested and charged with two counts of reckless conduct.
Animal control officers later took the dogs into custody.
